Terms of service

The service

Inkdiya makes painted, animated digital wedding invitations for you. You tell us what you want, we make the invite, and we send each family its own link (for example on WhatsApp). We also count which families have opened it and replied. Guests don't need an app or an account.

Invite links are served from inkdiya.app. The service is delivered online only. Nothing is printed or shipped.

How an order works

• You ask us on WhatsApp or by email, and send us the names, dates, venues, families and the design you like.

• We make your invite and send you a preview link to check.

• We tell you the price in the chat before you pay. You pay through a payment link from Cashfree Payments. You do not need to sign up for anything on our website.

• Once you are happy with the preview, we publish the invite and send you the invite link or links, within the time we agree with you in the chat.

Work starts once you have agreed the price and paid the payment link, unless we agree something different in the chat.

Your content and your rights

The names, dates, venues, words, photos and other material you give us for an invite are yours. You keep all rights in them. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to make and run your invite: to show it to the families you send it to, and to show you previews and replies.

You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us, including the photos, and any music or other files you give us. If you give us a song, you confirm you own it or hold the licence to use it this way. Songs from our own library are provided for use in your invite only.

The designs, artwork, animations, fonts and code of the service belong to Inkdiya Technologies or its licensors. You may use a design for your own invite. You may not copy, scrape, resell or rebuild the designs or the service.

Acceptable use

Please don't use the service to:

• send spam or messages to people who haven't expected them;

• share anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes someone else's rights;

• pretend to be another person or organisation, or collect other people's details by deception;

• try to break, overload, probe or bypass the security of the service, or access another customer's invite or data;

• use the service for something other than a genuine celebration or event invitation.

Takedowns

If you think an invite on Inkdiya infringes your rights or breaks these terms, tell us by writing to us (email [email protected], message us on WhatsApp at +911234567890 or call +911234567890) with the invite link and what is wrong. We may remove or pause content or an invite, with or without notice, if we believe it breaks these terms or the law. We will tell you why where we can.

Price and payment

The price of your invite is agreed with you in the chat before you pay, and is in Indian rupees (INR). Our Pricing page (https://inkdiya.com/pricing) explains how we quote.

Payments are made through a payment link from Cashfree Payments. We never see or store your card or UPI details.

If a payment fails or is not completed, we may pause the work until it is paid.

Changes and cancelling

After you have seen the preview, tell us what to change. How many changes are included, and any extra cost, is agreed in the chat.

You can cancel an order at any time by telling us in the chat. What you are refunded depends on how far the work has got. This is set out in our Refunds & cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your data and deletion

We keep your invite and its replies for up to 12 months after the last function, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

Availability and third parties

We work to keep the service running, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features over time.

Links are sent by you or by us, through services we don't control, such as WhatsApp. We are not responsible for messages that are delayed, blocked or not delivered by those services, or for guests' devices and networks.

Self-serve plans (coming soon)

We plan to add a way to make and send an invite yourself on this website. It is not available yet. Its plans, billing and cancellation terms will be added to these terms before anyone can buy it.

Limits on our liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Inkdiya Technologies is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the place where our business address (given on the Contact page) is located.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If we make a material change, we will tell you by email or in the product. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.
